How to activate NEXT in the Bold Penguin Terminal

Step 1. Log into your Bold Penguin Terminal account.

Step 2. In the top left corner, click on the drop-down menu and select Appointments:

Step 3. On the NEXT carrier card, click on the toggle to activate the carrier.

Step 4a. If you currently have an appointment with NEXT, select "Direct appointment" as the Appointment type, and then select CONFIRM.

The email used for NEXT portal access registration must match what you use to log into the Bold Penguin Terminal. If you would like to update the email address used on the NEXT portal, please contact the NEXT AST by phone (855-222-5919 press 5 when prompted) or email (agents@nextinsurance.com).

Step 4b. If you are requesting a sub-appointment with NEXT through Bold Penguin, select "Request through Bold Penguin" as the Appointment type, and then select REQUEST.

To quote with NEXT, the Bold Penguin Compliance Questionnaire must be completed and approved. Therefore, please allow up to 48 hours for activation once compliance is approved.

You're all done!

You will be notified once your appointment is ready to use on the Terminal. Once the appointment is active, the carrier card will be toggled purple.
