Business Class.
Line of Business (Coverage).
Location (State).
Step-by-Step Guide to Using the Appetite Search Tool
Access the tool:
Open Bold Penguin Terminal.
Click on the Menu in the upper-left corner.
Select Appetite Search from the dropdown options.
Input search criteria:
Describe the business operations (e.g., type of business or industry).
Choose the desired coverage type (e.g., commercial auto, general liability).
Specify the business needs and the state where the business operates.
Review results:
The tool will display a list of carriers with appetites matching the specified criteria.
Use this information to identify suitable carriers for quoting.
The Appetite Search tool allows users to explore appetite for any given risk across all carriers available in the Bold Penguin Terminal - not just the carriers with whom you have appointments activated in your Terminal. This allows you to start an application with more confidence, knowing which carriers have appetite for a particular risk. The tool also provides a list of carriers with appetites matching the specified criteria, helping you identify suitable carriers for quoting.
If the tool displays appetite with a carrier that you are not appointed with, you may be able to request a sub-appointment through Bold Penguin.
