Navigate to your Carrier Appointments dashboard to request market access appointments with eligible carriers on the Bold Penguin Terminal.
Requesting and activating Market Access appointments:
You can request a Market Access appointment with a carrier by selecting REQUEST next to the eligible market access carrier.
You will then be prompted to select REQUEST to confirm that you would like Bold Penguin's Customer Success team to begin processing the Market Access request with the carrier on your behalf.
Once you request a Market Access appointment on the Carrier Appointments dashboard, the carrier card will show as Pending:
Once you submit your Market Access appointment request, look for emails directly from the carrier. Some carriers require you to complete additional forms or need additional information. A Customer Success team member may also contact you directly to gather additional information based on carrier inquiries.
Once a Market Access appointment is approved and activated, you will receive a confirmation email, and the carrier will be listed as Active under your Active Appointments.
Note: You may still see the term “sub-appointment” referenced in certain Help Center articles or within the Terminal. “Sub-appointment” is the former term for what is now called Market Access. Any reference to a sub-appointment should be interpreted as a Market Access enrollment.
Additional Market Access appointment notes
You must complete your Required Account Setup Tasks before we can begin processing your market access appointment requests.
Some carriers require additional information before granting a Market Access appointment. In this instance, a Customer Success team member may contact you for a few additional pieces of information. Some carriers also use a third-party service provider to conduct background checks, so keep an eye out for these requests.
Market Access appointment timelines
While some appointments only take a few days to activate, others could take several weeks.
You can help reduce the time it takes to activate a Market Access appointment by:
Completing your Required Account Setup Tasks promptly.
Quickly providing additional information upon request from the Bold Penguin Customer Success team, if applicable.
Completing carrier or third-party-requested information as soon as it is received.
