Sub-appointment information:

Sub-appointment timeline: 5-7 business days (time can vary greatly depending on agent responsiveness to CNA outreach)

*Sub-appointment processing does not begin until your Bold Penguin compliance review has been approved.

Appointing states: available to agencies domiciled in all states except CA, FL, OK, NY*, & TX

*Agencies located in the following NY areas are not eligible for an appointment at this time: Suffolk County, Nassau County, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, and Westchester.

Exceptions may be considered if the agency writes the majority of its business outside of the restricted areas.

Additional considerations: agencies classified as “Sole Proprietors” are not eligible for a CNA sub-appointment at this time.

Please be advised that sub-appointment requirements are determined solely by the carrier and are subject to change without prior notice. Exceptions to these requirements will not be considered unless explicitly stated. Additionally, approval for sub-appointments is entirely at the discretion of the carrier.
