User Permissions: Principal vs. Agent
User Permissions: Principal vs. Agent
Updated over 2 months ago

Two User permission levels are available on the Bold Penguin Terminal:

  1. Principal

  2. Agent

Principal Permissions:

The Principal role has full access to all Bold Penguin Terminal features. This role should be reserved for those who will be managing Users, Carrier Settings, Carrier Appointments, Billing, and Commissions.

The features outlined in red below are only availble to Principal Users.

Note: More than one user can be assigned Principal permissions.

Agent Permissions:

The Agent user role has the ability to quote and bind applications. However, an Agent user does not have the ability to view several administrative features, like Client Quote Start or the Billing and Commissions dashboards.

Agent users can view the agency's Appointments and Carrier Settings dashboards, but they are unable to configure these dashboards.
